CHILD RELATED ISSUES ENGULF CHILDREN AMONG THE WORLD

Child-related issues have been inherited in our country for centuries, no matter how much government is trying to implement actions against it or how much judiciary services are taking action to prevent this, we all know that until and unless if we all not come together this will never decrease. Once Gandhi said “ We labor under a sort of superstition that the child has nothing to learn during the first five years of the life”. On the contrary, the fact is that the child never learns in the afterlife what does in its first five years, that is the most crucial years of life in which we can make them understand that no matter what situation will happen, we will be there for them and make sure that nothing will harm them. I saw many families where the parents are so strict that they don’t even allow their children to make any choices for themselves, for example in education criteria, children’s have other choices but parents force them to  choose a career path they wanted to follow in their life, they burden their child so much with very high expectations that at some point their children take some unacceptable steps, they start taking drugs to maintain peace in their mind, some of them being in under a very high pressure commit suicide.
Counseling children at every stage of their life is very important, no matter how much they're showing that they are very strong, they don’t have any problems, and we never know what is cultivating in their minds. I am not blaming only parents but, bullying and peer pressure are also very highlighting topics to discuss. India is taking some major steps to prevent them from these suicidal thoughts by providing helping services, one of the most popular of them is, AASRA (022 2754 6669). A dedicated service that helps younger minds via counseling and meaningful discussions related to their life routines. So, that they do not fall into the trap of mental issues such as depression, anxiety & other illness. They also work towards providing them with proper medications & solutions for their mental stability.
Apart from these problems, ‘CHILD LABOUR ‘  is also a very big controversy to discuss. A  good childhood is all about playing in the sun , not living a nightmare in the darkness of the soul . It has been with us for centuries because of the inclination to maintain economic systems geared more towards commodifying human existence than developing its spiritual, creative or scientific potentials. Though child labor ( prohibition and regulation ) amendment act, 2016 receives the assent of the president on 29th July 2016 , still child labor is not eliminated. Now the question arises what steps we can take, saying for an argument is very easy that even taking measure steps by the government, we are still living in a country where terms like child labor and human trafficking still exists but initiating step by oneself and following that for the rest of life is not an easy task. All we can do is whenever we see a child doing work for their livelihood we can stop them from doing that, encourage them to study in government schools where the higher authorities can provide the meal and study material for brightening their future.
218 million are in child labor as a matter of survival. The world without child labor is possible with the right priorities and policies: quality education, opportunities for young people, decent work for parents, a basic social protection floor for all.
Child labor is a scar to the world which is not healing but we can try to put some efforts to fight against this. Excluding all the measures I've already written before, we can uplift the lives of those children by convincing their parents that they should not let their children work. I understand, no parents want their children to work but circumstances made them take certain types of action. So, we should help them by connecting to a good NGO which will provide their parents good job & make them capable of their survival. And, those who don’t have parents can be directed to orphanages; several individuals with fertility issues can simultaneously go for adoption that can brighten up the lives of both.
Every person who is capable and well educated should have an aim in their life i.e. every child should be living carefree; they should grow and develop to their potential. They should have liberty to eat, sleep, laugh, cry, and play whenever they want. They should have autonomy to learn, go to school and above all, have freedom to dream.
